28 November 2024 - Franz Schubert’s great Octet in F D803 for clarinet, bassoon, horm, string quartet and double bass will be the major work in one of our programmes for 2025. We will be joined by guest players from the NZSO and Orchestra Wellington for performances of this monumental work in centres such as Waikanae, Wellington and Palmerston North. The other works in the programme will be Mozart’s String Quartet No 22 in B-flat K 589 and Nielsen’s ‘Serenata in vano’ for clarinet, bassoon, horn, cello & double bass.
