Ursula Evans to take break in 2018

...Did I find any cause for complaint? Yes, actually, I did – they didn’t encore the Brahms. But isn’t that the sign of an exceptional recital, that you send your audience away wishing they could have heard it all again?...

11 May 2018 - Ursula, our second violinist, is experiencing the recurrence of the effects of an old injury and is having to reduce her playing workload. She won’t be able to take part in many of our concerts this year, unfortunately. Her place in these concerts will be taken by NZSO first violnist Anne Loeser. We’re really grateful to Anne for being able to join us. We hope you recover soon, Ursula!
