Rangiora concert postponed

2 May 2022 - The Waimakariri District Community Arts Council has postponed the clarinet quintet concert we were scheduled to play for them in Rangiora on 10 May. If a replacement date is found we will publicise this here on our website.

In this programme we feature the clear, pure sound of the clarinet. Rachel Vernon, NZSO Principal Bass Clarinet, joins us for two of the best-loved works in the chamber music repertoire: the gorgeous clarinet quintets by Mozart and Brahms. The middle work in this programme is a beautiful arrangement for clarinet and string quartet of Astor Piazzolla's 'Oblivion'. This concert is sponsored by "Driving Miss Daisy" Whanganui.
